In September 2009, my best friend and I went on a road trip down to Devon to see Muse at their homecoming gig in Teignmouth. A few months later, I recreated this poster from the concert, and gave it to him as a present for his 21st birthday.

Originally I'd intended to screen print it, but due to lack of screen printing facilities I ended up creating the entire thing from sheets of coloured card, precisely cut on a laser cutting machine, and glued on top of each other in multiple layers to build up the overall illustration.
